About this role

Braintrust is hiring Developer Support Engineers to help developers troubleshoot technical issues with their AI observability platform. You'll diagnose API and SDK problems, collaborate with engineering on fixes, write documentation, and shape the developer experience through direct customer feedback—blending technical expertise with strong communication skills.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot and resolve API/SDK issues in customer Python and TypeScript codebases
  • Reproduce bugs, identify root causes, and partner with Engineering to ship fixes
  • Manage support communications via Slack and email, building trust with developer customers
  • Create and maintain knowledge base documentation to unblock future users
  • Identify DX improvements and contribute to internal tooling and scripts
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide technical mentorship to cross-functional peers
