About this role
Join Braze's SMS team as a Software Engineer II to build and scale SMS and RCS messaging channels. You'll own fullstack features end-to-end, tackle distributed systems challenges, and collaborate across teams to keep the platform reliable as it grows.
What you'll do
- Ship high-value fullstack features for SMS and RCS channels from concept to delivery
- Own key technical areas as primary owner and solve open-ended distributed systems problems
- Maintain platform reliability and performance as traffic scales
- Build and maintain supporting services including click tracking and link shortening
- Collaborate across teams and communicate technical decisions to peers and leadership
- Drive continuous improvements to composition, sending, responses, and analytics features
