About this role

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks a senior client-platform engineer to own and evolve the ELERA POS client framework built on Vue 3 and TypeScript. This platform role focuses on the extensibility layer, dependency injection, and plugin system that other teams build upon, with a clear path toward architecture leadership.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and debug Vue 3 and TypeScript client UI and framework code while mentoring the team
  • Own and extend the client extensibility model including dependency injection, plugin loading, and configuration merge chains
  • Maintain backward compatibility for plugins and customizations across framework versions
  • Design platform features with internal teams and external retailers/partners in mind
  • Support device layer integration and coexistence with legacy Dojo application
  • Improve and manage the build and release pipeline for all POS client variants
