Software Engineer II, Backend

About this role

Brex seeks a Backend Software Engineer II to develop scalable financial products that help companies manage spending and banking operations. You'll own full-stack features from design through deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions for a global fintech platform.

What you'll do

• Design and implement backend solutions for customer-facing banking features
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to build and ship new products end-to-end
• Partner with Sales and Support teams to understand customer needs and pain points
• Own complete ownership of problems including scalability, operability, and metrics
• Architect and test client-side and backend code to high engineering standards
• Refine features to deliver excellence in user experience
