About this role
Bright Machines seeks a Site Automation Engineer to manage robotic assembly system performance and reliability at a customer facility in Florence, Kentucky. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, coordinate between the customer and internal teams, and optimize system uptime on a rotating night shift schedule.
What you'll do
- Monitor and troubleshoot robotic assembly systems using live data and diagnostic tools
- Serve as primary technical liaison between customer, manufacturing partners, and Bright Machines experts
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures to maintain system availability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on system performance data
- Document issues, solutions, and maintenance activities for knowledge sharing
- Support 24/7 manufacturing operations on rotating overnight shifts
