Bridgewater seeks a Portfolio Engineer to design and maintain systems that convert investment strategies into executable trades at institutional scale. You'll bridge investment teams and technology, architecting portfolio systems, enforcing risk controls, and overseeing trade generation workflows.
What you'll do
- Architect scalable portfolio systems that translate investment strategies into executable trades
- Partner cross-functionally with investors, traders, data scientists, and engineers to diagnose and resolve issues
- Design and enforce standards for portfolio construction, risk management, and trade generation
- Build and maintain oversight tools to validate portfolio behavior and capital deployment
- Industrialize and visualize workflows to scale portfolio management processes
- Own and evolve subsystems with progressive responsibility toward end-to-end portfolio management
