United States (Remote)$95k–$100kfulltimemidAdded yesterday

About this role

CADRE seeks an AWS/ETL engineer to design and build a scalable email communication workflow integrating Salesforce with AWS services and VA Notify. This hands-on role involves assessing architecture feasibility, developing integration components, and deploying a production solution that handles high-volume outbound communications while meeting federal compliance standards.

What you'll do

  • Assess Salesforce S-Docs template generation, data dependencies, and automation triggers for reliable large-scale email delivery
  • Analyze Salesforce-to-AWS integration pathways to identify scalable patterns handling throughput, API limits, and fault tolerance
  • Design and validate AWS Lambda, SQS, and queueing strategies for peak-load email processing and VA Notify delivery
  • Build Salesforce components including S-Docs automation, email request workflows, outbound callouts, and status dashboards
  • Implement AWS infrastructure including API Gateway, Lambda functions, SQS/DLQ, logging, and monitoring pipelines
  • Execute full test lifecycle from unit through load testing, deploy via CI/CD pipelines, and document operational procedures

What they're looking for

  • AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DLQ, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
  • Salesforce integration (outbound/inbound callouts, Apex, Flow, S-Docs or similar)
  • SQL and Python or equivalent scripting/programming
  • ETL and data engineering concepts
  • CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployment
  • Architectural documentation (data flows, sequence diagrams, decision logs)
  • Federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
  • Test lifecycle (unit, integration, end-to-end, load testing)
