About this role

CADRE is hiring a Salesforce Security Engineer to design and build a high-volume communications integration connecting Salesforce, S-Docs, AWS, and legacy systems. You'll assess end-to-end workflows, develop secure integration components, and implement DevSecOps practices aligned with federal security baselines.

What you'll do

  • Assess and validate end-to-end communication architecture across Salesforce, S-Docs, AWS, and VA Notify for scalability, security, and compliance
  • Develop Salesforce data models, Apex code, and integration components including error handling and orchestration logic
  • Build AWS serverless infrastructure: API Gateway, Lambda functions, SQS/DLQ patterns, and CloudWatch monitoring
  • Design and implement high-volume, fault-tolerant integration pipelines handling 50,000+ transactions with attention to throughput and latency
  • Automate configuration management, secrets management, and access controls following federal security baselines and least-privilege principles
  • Integrate application security scanning (SAST/DAST/SCA) into CI/CD pipelines and document architectural decisions and risks
