AI Process Forward Deployed Engineer
About this role
Camunda seeks an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to bring ProcessOS—a natural language business process automation platform—into production at enterprise customers. You'll own the full deployment lifecycle from initial process design through handoff, working across Java services and React interfaces while collaborating with product teams to shape deployment practices and feed learnings back into the platform.
What you'll do
- Deploy ProcessOS workflows end-to-end at enterprise customers, achieving measurable operational improvements within 90 days and managing 3–5 viable deployments within 12 months
- Configure and manage Camunda clusters in local and cloud environments, debugging integration failures and building custom agents for legacy system connections
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders across customer organizations to drive adoption, build trust, and establish sustainable independent operation
- Document deployment patterns and best practices as you discover them, creating reusable playbooks and templates for future implementations
- Contribute production discoveries, custom agents, and integration patterns back to the ProcessOS product team
- Train customer teams to operate the platform independently and act on continuous improvement results
