Expert-level network engineer role supporting high-performance computing infrastructure at a secure government facility. Requires designing and managing enterprise datacenter networks, including Cisco-based routing/switching, firewalls, load balancers, and security architectures across multiple locations.

What you'll do

  • Design and architect enterprise-level network security boundaries and datacenter virtualization infrastructure
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security appliances
  • Manage CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure with TCP/IP, routing protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls
  • Perform packet capture analysis and network optimization for HPC environments
  • Create system architecture diagrams and deliver technical presentations to management
  • Provide expert-level support across three supported locations
