DevOps Engineer (On-Call/Hybrid) - Linux/AWS/Docker/Terraform/Ansible/Git
About this role
Captivation Software seeks a DevOps Engineer to support a modernization initiative involving application deployment, infrastructure management, and 24/7 on-call support. The role requires expertise in Linux, AWS, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code tools to maintain and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
What you'll do
- Deploy and manage applications across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain complex software systems and network servers
- Monitor system performance and maintain required uptime and availability standards
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and respond to production outages
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 emergency support (approximately 1 week per 3-4 weeks)
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
