About this role
Captivation Software seeks a senior DevOps engineer with 20+ years of experience to lead development, deployment, and administration of mission-critical satellite communication systems. What you'll do
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters including Rancher and RKE2 implementations
- Develop and maintain mission-critical satellite communication systems using C++ or Python
- Ensure smooth operation and high availability of complex systems from development through production
- Configure and troubleshoot Kubernetes control plane components, networking, and storage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet software requirements and customer needs
- Implement and manage Kubernetes security, monitoring, and lifecycle automation
