About this role
Captivation Software seeks an experienced senior software engineer with 15+ years in defense/government contracting to develop Python, C/C++, and RF signal processing solutions. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and involves designing complex systems with hardware integration and microcontroller development.
What you'll do
- Design and develop large-scale Python systems and general scripting solutions
- Architect and implement C/C++ systems for signal processing and hardware integration
- Develop and maintain Bash, awk, and sed scripts for automation and system operations
- Work with RF signal analysis, test equipment, and RF-based systems
- Develop microcontroller firmware and hardware breadboarding solutions
- Collaborate on mission-critical defense technology projects
