About this role

Captivation Software seeks a senior DevOps systems engineer to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions and CI/CD pipelines for multiple product teams. The role requires 20 years of systems engineering experience, current Top Secret/SCI clearance, and expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab, and AWS environments.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
  • Develop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD for automated testing and deployment
  • Install, configure, and optimize Kubernetes clusters along with cloud-native monitoring solutions (Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus)
  • Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, Lambda, EKS, RDS, S3, and auto-scaling capabilities
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, reliability, and system uptime
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide support across multiple product teams
