About this role
CesiumAstro seeks an Electrical Engineer I to design and implement PCB-level hardware for satellite and spacecraft systems. You'll translate spacecraft requirements into robust designs, own board-level development from concept through production, and grow alongside experienced hardware and systems engineers in a dynamic aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement PCB-level electronics for spacecraft platforms
- Translate spacecraft requirements into hardware designs meeting performance and reliability standards
- Own board-level development lifecycle from design through production
- Contribute to subsystem definition, integration, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, FPGA, thermal, and mechanical engineers
- Support spacecraft testing and mission objective alignment
