About this role

CesiumAstro seeks an Electrical Engineer II to design and implement PCB-level hardware for spacecraft communication systems. You'll own board development from design through production, translate spacecraft requirements into reliable designs, and grow within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team.

  • Design and implement PCB-level hardware for spacecraft platforms
  • Translate spacecraft requirements into robust hardware designs meeting performance and reliability standards
  • Own board-level development lifecycle from schematic design through production
  • Contribute to spacecraft subsystem definition, integration, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with software, FPGA, thermal, and mechanical engineers across the full spacecraft lifecycle
  • Support hardware validation and mission objectives alignment
