About this role
CesiumAstro seeks a GNC Engineer II to design and analyze guidance, navigation, and control systems for satellites and aerospace communication platforms. You'll own GNC development across the full lifecycle—from design through operations—including trade studies, modeling, testing, and hardware integration on a startup team.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze GNC systems for satellites and payloads across all development phases
- Perform trade studies and participate in design reviews for spacecraft control architectures
- Develop models, simulations, and conduct system-level testing and validation
- Build, test, and support flight hardware integration and operations
- Contribute to company-critical projects outside primary GNC focus area
- Support spacecraft launch and on-orbit operations
