RF Engineer II
About this role
CesiumAstro seeks an RF Engineer II to design and develop RF circuits and systems for satellite and aerospace platforms. You'll work through all development phases from concept to in-orbit support, handling schematic design, PCB layout, simulations, and testing of RF front-ends, phased arrays, and communication systems.
What you'll do
- Design and develop RF circuits, transceivers, amplifiers, filters, and microwave components
- Perform RF analyses, simulations, link budgets, impedance matching, and frequency planning
- Execute RF verification, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with antenna, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams
- Develop engineering reports, simulation documentation, and RF measurement reports
- Present design review materials to customers and leadership; participate in proposal writing
