About this role

Join Chime's Data Infra team to build and operate foundational infrastructure supporting data workflows at scale. You'll own deployment platforms for Airflow and Flink, manage core storage services like DynamoDB and RDS, and work across both the engineering deployment and storage layers to enable reliable data operations.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain deployment infrastructure for Airflow, Flink, and chalk.ai environments
  • Own and operate DynamoDB and RDS infrastructure serving data engineering and platform teams
  • Write infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and manage Kubernetes workloads in production
  • Partner with Data Engineering to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions
  • Drive reliability improvements through observability, capacity planning, and operational best practices
  • Participate in full lifecycle of infrastructure changes from design through deployment
