Founding Design Engineer
About this role
Circleback seeks a design engineer to own the product surface across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. You'll establish the design system, craft pixel-perfect interfaces for an AI meeting notes platform, and invent new patterns for organizing conversational intelligence at scale.
What you'll do
- Design and implement features end-to-end across React/Next.js web, Electron/Swift desktop, and React Native mobile
- Build and maintain a design system with components, patterns, and tokens across multiple platforms
- Solve complex UX problems around presenting dense conversational data intuitively
- Craft animations, interactions, and micro-interactions that enhance product feel
- Iterate on onboarding, activation, and user education experiments
- Collaborate directly with engineering and founders on product direction and strategy
