Product Design Engineer

Citizen seeks a Product Design Engineer to bridge design and engineering at their real-time safety platform. You'll identify opportunities, prototype experiences, and help shape the future of AI-powered safety products—working across alerts, live video, maps, and new features that millions rely on daily.

What you'll do

• Identify user opportunities and design product experiences from concept through execution
• Build functional prototypes and explore multiple product directions through rapid experimentation
• Develop core experiences including alerts, live video, maps, and AI-powered safety features
• Define design systems, workflows, and behaviors alongside visual interfaces
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and leadership teams to ship solutions
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate exploration, research, and product development
