About this role

CivilGrid seeks an experienced Software Developer in Test to own quality across their web and mobile infrastructure platform used by utilities and engineers. You'll design automated test suites, perform manual testing on critical workflows, and partner with engineering to build quality into a rapidly scaling Series A startup.

What you'll do

  • Own quality assurance for web, iOS, and Android applications
  • Design, build, and maintain automated regression and end-to-end test suites integrated into CI
  • Write clear test cases from product requirements and perform exploratory testing for edge cases
  • Validate new features, catch regressions, and verify fixes before release
  • Write detailed, reproducible bug reports and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to establish quality standards
