Software Engineer - Platform Engineer

About this role

Clear Street is seeking a Platform Engineer to build internal developer platforms that enable product teams to ship faster and safer. You'll design self-service infrastructure capabilities, automate operational workflows, and partner with engineers to eliminate friction from the software delivery lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Build self-service developer platforms for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, secrets management, and service discovery
• Create reusable platform services and SDKs including identity, authorization, deployment orchestration, and configuration management
• Design 'golden paths' that establish best practices and make the easiest approach also the most secure and scalable
• Develop intelligent CI/CD platforms that accelerate deployments and improve release confidence through automation
• Enhance developer workflows by optimizing local development environments, build systems, and ephemeral testing environments
• Measure and continuously improve developer productivity through platform metrics, engineering insights, and workflow optimization
