Developer Relations Engineer
About this role
Founding Developer Relations Engineer for an open-source MLOps and AI infrastructure company, responsible for building the San Francisco community presence from scratch. You'll blend technical evangelism, event leadership, and growth-oriented GTM to convert community engagement into pipeline and measurable business outcomes.
What you'll do
- Launch and scale a recurring SF meetup into a must-attend event for the ML infrastructure community
- Represent the company at AI infrastructure meetups, hackathons, and conferences across the Bay Area with technical credibility
- Build and nurture relationships across the SF AI/ML community to create lasting partnerships
- Create and distribute technical content including talks, blog posts, demos, and videos informed by community feedback
- Live-demo the Python framework to engineering audiences, answer technical questions, and engage without relying on slides
- Instrument community and product signals into automated workflows to convert conversations into traceable leads

- Developer Relations and community building (2+ years)
- Python proficiency for live demos and API work
- Event design and execution with documented engagement metrics
- Modern GTM tools (CRM, enrichment platforms, automation, LLM-based outreach)
- Product and GitHub signal integration for lead scoring
- Technical content creation (blog posts, demo videos, conference talks)
- Open-source community dynamics and contributor engagement
- Self-directed execution in early-stage environments
