About this role

Early-stage AI healthtech startup seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and own integrations connecting their payer compliance platform to EHR and healthcare provider systems. You'll work across Python/FastAPI and React/TypeScript, embedding with customers to translate clinical workflows into production integrations while contributing to core product development.

What you'll do

  • Own provider and payer integrations end-to-end from discovery through production deployment
  • Conduct customer discovery sessions to map workflows and convert them into technical requirements
  • Build integrations using RESTful APIs, web scrapers, and RPA tooling for legacy systems
  • Ship custom integrations quickly to meet client timelines and business needs
  • Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP with Postgres-backed services
  • Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to non-technical stakeholders and clients
