About this role

Join an early-stage AI/ML startup as a Forward Deployed Engineer, owning the complete customer deployment lifecycle from integration through production. You'll embed with customers, write tailored detection logic and evals, drive code contributions to their systems, and translate learnings into product improvements while reporting directly to senior leadership.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end new customer onboarding including integrations, trace surfacing, failure identification, and landing first PRs in customer codebases
  • Embed in customer communication channels as the expert on their agent architecture, failure modes, and production issues
  • Write detection logic, evals, and observability code customized to each customer's specific use cases and scale findings into product features
  • Open and defend pull requests against unfamiliar codebases in code review with engineering teams outside your organization
  • Lead critical customer conversations including security reviews, deployment architecture decisions, and relationship-building discussions solo
  • Continuously feed learnings back into the product roadmap to automate manual work and reduce manual effort each quarter
