About this role

A founding Forward Deployed Engineer role at an early-stage data infrastructure startup, bridging customer success and engineering. You'll own end-to-end web scraping and data extraction solutions for enterprise clients while building and scaling the function from the ground up with potential for rapid growth into management.

What you'll do

  • Partner with enterprise customers to understand and solve complex web scraping and data extraction challenges
  • Own customer requests from intake through delivery, ensuring quality outcomes and high satisfaction
  • Manage and support scraping engineers who build and maintain customer data pipelines
  • Translate customer feedback and context into actionable product roadmap input for the core engineering team
  • Define, document, and scale the Forward Deployed Engineer function as the company grows
  • Drive customer satisfaction metrics and sales velocity through technical delivery
