About this role

Join an early-stage data infrastructure startup as a founding Forward Deployed Engineer, bridging customer needs and product development. You'll own complex web scraping and data extraction challenges for key clients while building and mentoring a scraping engineering team.

What you'll do

  • Partner directly with major customers to understand and resolve web scraping and data extraction challenges
  • Own customer requests end-to-end, driving measurable improvements in satisfaction and retention
  • Manage and support a team of scraping engineers building and maintaining customer data pipelines
  • Translate customer feedback and context to influence the product roadmap with the core engineering team
  • Define and scale the Forward Deployed Engineer function as the company grows
  • Debug and maintain data extraction infrastructure at scale
