About this role

A European AI startup seeks a Forward Deployment Engineer to own end-to-end technical implementation of their AI phone assistant platform for SMBs. You'll translate customer requirements into production deployments, build third-party integrations, develop glue code, and feed learnings back to the product team in a fast-moving, small-team environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end production rollouts of AI assistant configurations, including workflows, logic, prompts, and guardrails
  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems (CRMs, calendars, ticketing, payments) via APIs and webhooks
  • Translate business requirements into robust, production-ready implementations and deployment playbooks
  • Develop small-to-medium features and glue code with appropriate tests, monitoring, and logging
  • Debug and resolve live issues across calls, flows, and data pipelines under production conditions
  • Collaborate with product and go-to-market teams to identify pain points and recommend improvements
