About this role
Join an early-stage consumer social startup as a Founding AI Engineer to build AI matching systems and multi-channel agent experiences that connect Gen Z users through real-world group hangouts. You'll own critical technical areas spanning social graph intelligence, personalization pipelines, and orchestrated AI workflows across messaging platforms.
What you'll do
- Design and develop social graph systems based on real-world interaction data rather than online engagement
- Build group-matching algorithms using collaborative filtering, embeddings, and ranking systems at scale
- Implement reinforcement learning models trained on real friendship outcomes to improve compatibility
- Architect multi-channel AI agent workflows across Instagram, iMessage, WhatsApp, and TikTok
- Create large-scale personalization pipelines processing millions of user data points
- Integrate messaging APIs and third-party services into cohesive, scalable communication systems
