About this role

Founding frontend engineer at a seed-stage B2B SaaS startup building an AI-native pricing platform. You'll architect and maintain the entire design system, component library, and frontend standards to ensure cohesive product experiences as both human engineers and AI agents contribute code.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain design tokens, shadcn/ui component library, and Tailwind CSS conventions across the product
  • Enforce consistent frontend patterns using React Query, React Hook Form, and Zod to ensure AI-generated PRs integrate seamlessly
  • Own frontend tooling, quality standards, and performance including Biome, Playwright E2E tests, and accessibility
  • Embed brand guidelines and WCAG accessibility rules into linting and code standards
  • Develop conversational and streaming UI patterns optimized for AI-native interfaces
  • Collaborate with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude) as part of daily workflow and team processes
