About this role

Join a Y Combinator-backed startup as the founding electrical engineer designing and scaling an AI-powered emotional intelligence wearable. You'll own the complete electronics and PCB design from prototype to production, working directly with an ex-Apple founder on a device already in user hands.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end electrical and PCB/board design for the wearable device
  • Drive rapid hardware iteration across device revisions in a prototype-heavy environment
  • Lead consumer hardware from functional prototype through mass production
  • Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams on hardware integration
  • Define electrical engineering standards and processes as the team scales
  • Support leadership role in hardware organization as company grows

  • PCB and board design (3+ years hands-on experience)
