About this role

Join a Y Combinator-backed AI financial research platform as a founding engineer, owning full-stack infrastructure for AI agents that power healthcare investment research. You'll ship frontend, backend, and data pipeline systems while working directly with professional investors in a three-person engineering team.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain full-stack systems across frontend, backend infrastructure, and real-time data pipelines
  • Develop data pipelines and internal tools to streamline adding new data sources and maintaining sector coverage
  • Improve AI agent parsing and extraction reliability to enhance production capabilities
  • Own projects end-to-end from data inspection through QA, deployment, and production debugging
  • Contribute immediately by adding data sources, shipping reliability improvements, and building core product features
  • Operate and monitor distributed systems with strong observability and incident response
