About this role
Point72 seeks an IT Operations Engineer to support trading applications and front-office systems in New York or Stamford. You'll maintain Linux and Windows production environments, monitor application health, respond to incidents, and automate routine support tasks for investment and trading teams.
What you'll do
- Maintain stability and performance of front-office trading applications for investment professionals
- Install, configure, and manage Linux and Windows production applications supporting trading workflows
- Monitor application health, perform daily start-of-day and end-of-day checks, and mitigate production risks
- Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, compatibility, and connectivity issues under time pressure
- Partner with engineering teams to improve application resiliency and release readiness based on production issues
- Automate routine support tasks and explore AI-enabled approaches to enhance incident response and operational efficiency
