About this role

Join a seed-stage healthtech startup as a Founding Engineer to build AI-powered software that automates billing and operations for Emergency Medical Services. You'll own the full stack, ship customer-facing features, and work directly with EMS agencies to drive immediate impact.

What you'll do

  • Own full-stack architecture, development, deployment, and on-call support
  • Build and deploy customer-facing features based on direct feedback from EMS billers and agency leaders
  • Design automation systems that streamline denial resolution, appeals, and compliance workflows
  • Make product and UX tradeoffs with strong design sensibility
  • Rapidly iterate on features with customer feedback loops
  • Collaborate closely with founding team in hybrid San Francisco office setting
