About this role

Join a Y Combinator–backed AI martech startup as a Founding Engineer to build systems that help brands understand how LLMs perceive and recommend their products. You'll own full-stack features end-to-end, work directly with founders and customers, and help establish engineering practices for a team collaborating with AI agents daily.

What you'll do

  • Own customer problems end-to-end from discovery through research, infrastructure, and deployment
  • Build and maintain full-stack features spanning React frontends, Python backends, and AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Maintain direct feedback loops with customers and leadership to prioritize and ship rapidly
  • Help define engineering culture, practices, and patterns for working alongside AI agents
  • Translate customer insights directly into shipped product features
  • Collaborate on domain-specific agentic systems that influence model behavior
