Founding Forward-Deployed ML Engineer

Join a healthtech AI startup as a Founding Forward-Deployed ML Engineer to bridge research and clinical deployment of medical imaging AI. You'll work directly with hospital partners to evaluate, validate, and integrate safety-critical models into real-world radiology workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance and clinical reliability.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain reproducible evaluation pipelines and validation workflows for medical imaging AI models in clinical settings
• Lead on-site engagements at hospital partners to integrate ML models into DICOM/PACS and radiology clinical workflows
• Analyze model generalization, failure modes, and uncertainty quantification to assess clinical reliability
• Support FDA regulatory submissions (510(k), De Novo) and maintain compliance documentation for clinical evaluations
• Establish MLOps practices including deployment, monitoring, model versioning, and ongoing performance evaluation
• Translate clinical requirements into technical specifications and drive cross-functional projects to completion
