About this role

Join a Y Combinator-backed wearable startup as the founding iOS engineer owning the companion app end-to-end. You'll build a consumer-facing mobile experience that surfaces real-time emotional intelligence data from a proprietary biometric wearable, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the engineering team scales.

What you'll do

  • Own iOS app architecture, design, and delivery from concept to production
  • Integrate emotional-state outputs (energy, mood, focus) from backend inference model into polished UI
  • Build full-stack integrations between iOS app and backend services
  • Collaborate with hardware, neuroscience, and design teams on product experience
  • Establish engineering standards and best practices as mobile org grows
  • Drive technical decisions and set quality benchmarks for the mobile platform
