About this role

Join this early-stage B2B SaaS startup as a Founding Product Engineer to design and ship end-to-end product modules for an AI-driven pricing platform. You'll own entire features from backend APIs to React frontends, collaborate directly with customers, and architect systems where LLM agents are first-class citizens.

What you'll do

  • Own full product modules end-to-end: design versioned APIs, build React UIs, and iterate with customers
  • Design agentic AI systems across Slack bots, terminal interfaces, web, and vendor integrations
  • Ensure features are drivable by LLM agents via MCP/FastMCP servers and conversational interfaces
  • Migrate pricing and business logic from client to backend services to preserve financial integrity
  • Maintain a typed pricing ontology using Pydantic models for SKUs, propositions, personas, contracts, and quotes
  • Establish testing, observability, deployment, and performance monitoring practices for AI-driven features
