About this role

Cogent Security seeks a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of post-sales implementation, designing vulnerability management solutions for enterprise customers and bridging technical requirements between security teams and product engineering. This founding role combines customer-facing architecture work with process-building to scale Cogent's deployment motion.

What you'll do

  • Design and scope vulnerability management solutions by partnering with customer security teams and CISOs
  • Translate customer environments and requirements into concrete implementation plans and engineering tickets
  • Serve as technical counterpart to account managers, building credibility with security stakeholders
  • Manage enterprise-scale deployments involving multiple customer teams and stakeholders
  • Build repeatable scoping practices to reduce reliance on forward-deployed engineers per implementation
  • Help define and scale the Solutions Architect function as a founding hire
