About this role

Convene Hospitality Group seeks an experienced V1 Video Engineer to operate large-format video switchers and manage video processing for high-profile live events in Manhattan. You'll configure Analog Way equipment, troubleshoot real-time issues, and collaborate with production teams to deliver exceptional visual experiences across corporate meetings, brand activations, and major conferences.

What you'll do

  • Set up, configure, and operate large-format video switchers including Analog Way Aquilons and Ascenders
  • Manage video processing for projector blends and LED video walls with layer 1 and layer 2 canvas management
  • Troubleshoot and resolve video equipment issues quickly during live events
  • Collaborate with event coordinators and production teams to meet client video requirements
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Document video setups, configurations, and equipment inventory; provide technical support to team members
