About this role

Crusoe seeks a Workforce Intelligence Engineer to build and maintain the technical systems powering HR analytics and workforce data at a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company. You'll own data pipelines in BigQuery/dbt, develop AI agents to automate HR workflows, and partner with IT to operationalize solutions—balancing greenfield development with production system reliability while learning HR domain expertise alongside a senior mentor.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain data engineering pipelines using dbt and BigQuery, integrating HR systems like Rippling, Ashby, and Visier
  • Design and deploy AI agents to automate workforce workflows and surface actionable intelligence from people data
  • Triage technical work and determine whether to build in-house, scope through IT, or solve with vendors
  • Partner with central IT to productionize, host, and scale workforce intelligence solutions
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to compress build cycles and move from problem to working solution quickly
  • Develop HR domain expertise in areas like job architecture, organizational design, and workforce planning

What they're looking for

  • Data engineering (dbt, BigQuery, ETL/ELT pipelines)
  • Python or similar programming language
  • AI/LLM agent development and AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, etc.)
  • HR systems and data (Rippling, Ashby, Visier, or similar platforms)
  • SQL and data modeling
  • API integration and data warehouse architecture
  • Problem-solving and independent judgment in triaging technical scope
  • Communication across technical and non-technical HR stakeholders
