About this role

Crusoe seeks a Workforce Intelligence Engineer to build and maintain the technical systems powering the company's HR analytics and AI-driven workforce tooling. You'll own data pipelines in BigQuery, develop AI agents to automate HR workflows, and partner with IT to scale solutions—balancing greenfield development with production system reliability while learning HR domain expertise alongside a senior consultant.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain people data engineering stack including dbt models, data staging from HR systems, and event-grain workforce models in BigQuery
  • Design and deploy AI agent systems that automate HR workflows and surface workforce intelligence using AI-assisted development tools
  • Take growing ownership of data architecture quality, maintenance, and scalability with guidance from senior consultant
  • Triage technical work and determine what to build in-house versus scope through IT or solve with vendors
  • Partner with central IT organization to productionize and scale solutions for hosting and long-term maintenance
  • Contribute to HR analytics projects involving organizational design, workforce planning, and mobility
