About this role
DISA seeks an AI Engineer to evaluate emerging AI technologies and their applications for cybersecurity controls and risk management frameworks. You'll support the Enterprise Integration and Innovation Center in developing solutions that help defense systems achieve authorized operations while advancing capabilities for warfighters.
What you'll do
- Analyze and evaluate AI/ML technologies including NLP and computer vision for defense applications
- Support development of cybersecurity controls and STIGs for DISA's Risk Management Framework
- Contribute to project delivery for RMF-aligned programs and systems
- Research potential use cases of AI technologies across accredited defense agencies
- Assist in ensuring AI solutions meet authority to operate (ATO) requirements
- Collaborate with EIIC branch on innovation initiatives for cybersecurity
