About this role
Dark Wolf Solutions seeks a mid-level cybersecurity engineer to lead RMF authorization processes and security documentation for government systems. You'll conduct risk assessments, ensure NIST/DoD compliance, and optimize cyber defense operations with a focus on continuous improvement and incident response.
What you'll do
- Lead and execute the RMF lifecycle and security authorization process for systems and applications
- Develop security documentation and conduct risk assessments aligned with NIST guidelines and DoD regulations
- Provide recommendations for improving cyber defense processes, architectures, and incident handling capabilities
- Ensure effective IT system and network defense operations with strong incident response capabilities
- Identify automation opportunities to streamline manual and inefficient cyber defense processes
- Coordinate with COTR and sponsor staff to maximize technical and operational effectiveness
