About this role
Datadog seeks a Mid-Market Sales Engineer in NYC to bridge technical expertise and sales by delivering product demonstrations, supporting proof-of-concepts, and helping customers evaluate the monitoring platform. You'll collaborate with sales teams to articulate value, liaise with the product team on feature requests, and guide clients through technical challenges during the pre-sales and onboarding lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Deliver technical presentations and product demos to prospective customers and partners
- Support proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations and technical assessments
- Partner with sales team to communicate Datadog's value proposition and strategy
- Provide direct feedback to the product team on feature requests and competitive insights
- Assist with customer onboarding and troubleshoot technical roadblocks
- Travel to client sites and work cross-functionally to resolve escalations
