About this role
Datadog seeks Software Engineering Interns to contribute to production systems handling large-scale observability and security platform development. You'll work on distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data processing across backend, frontend, and developer tooling teams from January to April 2027.
What you'll do
- Contribute to production systems processing and analyzing large-scale observability data in real time
- Build and improve distributed systems across backend infrastructure and cloud-native services
- Identify and solve performance, reliability, and scalability challenges in critical services
- Own technical projects from design through deployment with mentor support
- Develop expertise with Kubernetes, distributed systems, and cloud-native infrastructure
- Collaborate with interns, mentors, and engineers on impactful software projects
