About this role

DSA seeks an active TS/SCI cleared cybersecurity specialist to enhance continuous monitoring and security automation for Army intelligence systems in Charlottesville, VA. The role involves developing compliance strategies, implementing security controls, and collaborating with development teams to integrate security into deployment pipelines, with potential for hybrid work after 90 days.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement continuous monitoring strategy and automation plans supporting compliance authorization (cATO)
  • Assess cybersecurity tools and create automation plans for enterprise-level security checks
  • Perform automated and manual STIG compliance checks across operating systems, databases, and network components
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into deployment pipelines
  • Support eMASS documentation updates and authorization-to-operate (ATO) processes
  • Educate development teams on security configuration best practices and modernize security methodologies for cloud environments

  • DOD 8570 IAM or IAT Level II certification
  • Defensive cyber security operations (5+ years)
