About this role
Diamond Foundry seeks an experienced mechanical design engineer to lead R&D projects developing Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment for single-crystal diamond wafer manufacturing. You'll own the design and development of critical systems while managing multiple high-visibility projects in a fast-growing, profitable scale-up focused on sustainable semiconductor materials.
What you'll do
- Lead design and development of Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and manufacturing systems
- Own multiple high-visibility R&D projects within the Reactor Development Group
- Direct mechanical engineering teams and coordinate cross-functional project execution
- Drive innovation in thermal management and reactor performance optimization
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables for hardware systems
- Collaborate with process engineers and manufacturing teams on scalability and implementation
