Software & Systems Engineer

About this role

Diamond Foundry seeks a Software & Systems Engineer to develop and optimize applications for their advanced manufacturing line that produces single-crystal diamond wafers. You'll integrate custom and commercial equipment through improved data collection, automation, and device communication to maximize production efficiency while working alongside a skilled engineering team.

What you'll do

• Develop and troubleshoot manufacturing line applications and software systems
• Optimize data collection methods and improve operator input workflows
• Program and configure custom-built and commercial manufacturing equipment
• Automate production processes and workflows
• Implement communication protocols to integrate various device types
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers on engineering projects
